Kristin Taylor, a 6th Grade Humanities teacher at Mt. Washington Middle School will be headed to the country of Georgia after winning a Civic Voices Fellowship through the AFT. Taylor will head to Georgia on March 24th and return on April 1st. She’s going to tour historical and cultural sites as well as interview educators and students about how the education process works in that country. She will be able to bring back what she learns and share it with her students at Mt. Washington. “I’m so excited to be going to Georgia,” Taylor said. “I can’t wait to bring back what I learn to my students.”
