In recognition of World AIDS Day on December 1st, the Baltimore Teacher Union Public Outreach Committee spent the evening volunteering at Moveable Feast in East Baltimore. There, members packed healthy meals that would be provided to patients living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life threatening illnesses. The members spent three hours, enjoying the fellowship of one another and putting together packages consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables. VP Sandra Davis who was in attendance said the event was “extremely fulfilling” and she promised that wouldn’t be the last time the public outreach committee would work with Moveable Feast.
